House of the Northern Gate is an exclusive-use private house in the Scottish Highlands, available for holidays, family gatherings, weddings, and extended stays. You will feel warmly welcomed and inspired by the stunning views. The house is rented exclusively to one group at a time, giving guests complete freedom and privacy with generous living spaces and private bedrooms.

 

All stays at the house are hosted meaning:

• we will have a call with you before you arrive to suggest activities and understand your needs,

• we will greet you on arrival with the fire made, wood supply stocked up, the house immaculate with fluffy towels and crisp linens, and with a small hamper of local produce, and

• we are on hand for any challenges during your stay and will wish you a bon voyage on departure.

We can also discuss a more curated offering where we offer itinerary planning and booking a combination of:​

• a piper to welcome your arrival or to pipe in a meal,

• a private chef to prepare meals throughout your stay or craft a special meal,

• luxury airport or local transfers for you and guests,

• activities from surf lessons to fishing to golf to whisky tasting,

• additional housekeeping services during your stay,

• spa treatments and free sauna sessions,

• grocery shopping unpacked before your arrival and regular top ups of Nespresso capsules and firewood,

• fresh flowers on arrival, a large hamper of local produce and a welcome drink, and

• whisky tasting and highland dancing demonstrations.
