The House of the Northern Gate is an incredible, memorable and unique venue for a handful of weddings each year.
We offer a small number of carefully considered wedding formats, designed to give you flexibility while keeping the experience unique and personal. All options are based around exclusive use of the house and estate, with accommodation charged separately.​
1. Elopement & Intimate Weddings
Up to 18 guests | Ceremony in the house or on the estate
Perfect for couples seeking something personal and simple.

Wedding dinner catered by a recommended chef for £50-75 per head depending on menu (or full-stay catering if desired)

2. House Wedding
Up to 35 guests | Celebration within the house

Ideal for relaxed, elegant weddings where everyone can gather in the house for the ceremony and dinner.

Includes everything in the Elopement option, plus:

Additional tables, chairs, tableware and glassware

Furniture moving and room re-setting

Coordination of additional local accommodation

Assistance with guest transport planning for those not staying at the house

3. Estate Wedding – Fully Organised
Larger celebrations with marquee | Numbers by arrangement
For couples wanting a statement celebration while keeping the estate as a private, exclusive backdrop.
Includes everything above, plus:
